About Tenth Street Miscellany
Tenth Street Miscellany is Chadron State College’s student-operated literary and arts journal.
Submissions are open to college students in the High Planes area (Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Montana, and the Dakotas) and Chadron State College Alumni.
Essential Information
We accept submissions creative fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, art, photography, and music. We also accept submissions for the cover photo of our journal. More information can be found on the Submittable forms themselves.
We allow multiple submissions, including to more than one genre, but we ask that each author/artist limit themselves to submitting to no more than three genre categories per edition, as well as no more than five submissions total.
Additionally, all submitted work must be previously unpublished. Should any submissions be published elsewhere, we ask that you send us a message so we can retract your submission. We hope you'll replace it with a new submission.
Submission Deadlines
Submissions are open now, September 2, 2026 and will be accepted until November 30, 2026.
